THE EXPEDITION
October 16 – November 19, 2023
For all those who long to start, make progress with, or complete a writing project.
Four weeks of working on your project, supported by weekly Zoom gatherings, and culminating in the Gala Performance, a public reading on Zoom of short excerpts from each writer’s project. Invite friends and family!
Depending on what your project needs, The Expedition may involve writing, editing, organizing, even just typing up handwritten material.
Prep Week
October 16-20
Each participant meets remotely with Marta for 30 minutes to clarify their overall goal and the steps they intend to take to reach that goal.
Your goal and the steps you intend to take becomes your personal Expedition Map. Your map can be adjusted along the way.
Every writer’s Expedition Map is posted on a Google Doc shared by all participants.
Each writer updates the Google Doc frequently with every accomplishment, large and small.

Each writer follows their Expedition Map and updates their section of the Google Doc each time they accomplish one of their steps.
Sunday, October 29

Participants come together to talk about how it’s going, share their experience so far, and hear from their fellows. On Zoom.
Week Two:
October 30-November 3
Each writer follows their Expedition Map and updates their section of the Google Doc each time they accomplish one of their steps.

November 6-10
Each writer follows their Expedition Map and updates their section of the Google Doc each time they accomplish one of their steps.
